A 40-year-old Houma man has been arrested for molestation of a juvenile following an investigation by Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives, Wednesday Feb 5.

Ryan Andrew Williams was placed in custody and transported to the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex to be booked on one count of molestation of a juvenile.


Detectives were notified on Tuesday, Feb. 4, by a school resource officer, of information he received concerning a disclosure from a teen-aged girl that a family friend had engaged in intercourse with her on a regular basis.

Interviews were conducted of the victim with the assistance of the Terrebonne Parish District Attorney’s Child Advocacy Center, and also of the suspect.
