Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet announced the arrest of two Houma men in connection with a Child Cyber Crime operation conducted in Terrebonne Parish. Chandlar David Rodenkirch, 47, of Houma, and Christopher Mozesky, 44, of Houma, were arrested separately for charges stemming from the operation.
On March 21, 2023, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office Special Victim’s Unit participated in a joint operation with the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation (LBI), Homeland Security Investigations, and the Houma Police Department. Local Authorities learned from the LBI Cyber Crime Unit that two suspects in the Houma area were the subject of separate investigations into their access of Pornography involving Juveniles, investigated by their agency.
After learning of the information, Authorities and Agents proceeded to an address in the 300 block of Cleveland Street, where a search warrant of the residence was conducted and Chandlar David Rodenkirch was taken into custody without incident. Chandlar David Rodenkirch was arrested on 22 counts of Possession of Pornography involving Juveniles Under the age of 13, and was later jailed at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex. Rodenkirch was later released on a $50,000 bond by local judges.
Authorities and Agents then proceeded to a separate address in the 200 block of Garden Lane Street, where a search warrant of the residence was conducted, and Christopher Mozesky Sr. was taken into custody without incident. Christopher Mozesky was arrested on 12 counts of Possession of Pornography involving Juveniles Under the age of 13 and was later jailed at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex. Mozesky remains jailed on a $50,000 bond by local judges.
Sheriff Tim Soignet would like to personally thank Attorney General Jeff Landry and his Cyber Crime Unit for their continued pursuit of criminals of this magnitude. Sheriff Soignet said, “I am honored to say that we have an amazing network of Public Safety Partners locally, and at the state level, who strive every day to make our communities safer. The ability to work closely and efficiently with all of the agencies involved has proven to be a huge asset in the daily fight against crime. Our agency will continue to do what is necessary to make Terrebonne Parish a safer place for all.”
