Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre is offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest of the person(s) responsible in vehicle burglaries on East 25th Street in Larose – incidents, which were caught on video.

Authorities said the first incident occurred on December 31, 2016, when a resident on East 25th Street woke up and discovered that several of her items had been stolen from her vehicle overnight.

A few weeks later, on Jan. 18, deputies responded to another residence in the street in reference to another burglary and an attempted burglary.

Surveillance video in the case showed what appears to be a thin male as he is breaking into the vehicles on both dates.

In both videos, a male is seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt and pants.

Authorities believe the same person may be responsible for both crimes.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Bayou Region Crime Stoppers at 1-800-743-7433.

Information that leads to an arrest may make one eligible for a $1,000 reward.
