A 32-year-old Houma woman is accused of terrorizing workers at a child support office.

On April 19, Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services Enforcement Office in Thibodaux in reference to a woman making threats to workers.

Upon arrival, deputies learned that Deidre Bluford, 32, of Houma, had allegedly arrived at the office for a scheduled appointment. At that appointment, she allegedly got upset and left.

She then came back and returned to the office, allegedly making a threat regarding employees at the office.

After investigation, a warrant was issued for her arrest.

On April 23, Bluford returned to the same office.

When authorities learned that she was there, they arrived and arrested her without incident.

Bluford was taken to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center in Thibodaux, booked on a warrant for terrorizing, as well as warrants for two counts of contempt of court for Thibodaux City Court.

She is held on a $53,500 bond.
