Mary Elise Achee, 83, a resident of Houma, La., died on Wednesday, May 17, 2017.
Mrs. Achee loved gardening, traveling and her family and was always involved in her community.
She is survived by her daughters, Alice (John) Barker and Mary (Billy) Bourg; sons, James Sr., Daniel Sr. (Mary), John and Sam Achee Sr.; sister, Laura (Tommi) Savoie; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1 in Houma.
