Comic Con will make a two-day stop in New Orleans this month, starting on Jan. 28 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.


Tickets are available at www.wizardworldcomiccon.com. Advanced single-day tickets cost $25 ($30 on site), and weekend passes cost $40 ($45 on site). Children 10 years old or younger get in free.

Comic Con aims to celebrate the best in pop-fiction, pop culture, movies, graphic novels, comics, toys, video gaming, television, science fiction, original art, collectibles and more.


It will run from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29.

Lou Ferrigno, who gained a cult following through his portrayal of “The Incredible Hulk,” will headline New Orleans Comic Con. Ferrigno, a former Mr. Universe, starred for five seasons on television show based off a Marvel comic. Stan Lee, who co-created the comic, will also attend Comic Con, as will William Shatner, Adam Baldwin, Mary McDonnell, James Marsters, Michael Biehn, WWE Diva Kelly Kelly and WWE Superstar Zack Ryder.
