Enjoy a night of art, wine and music Oct. 5 at the Dansereau House in Downtown Thibodaux.
The works of several local artists are displayed as guests enjoy hors d’oeuvres prepared by the John Folse Culinary Institute, live jazz performances and a silent auction.
Sponsored by the Thibodaux Main Street Inc., the evening kicks off at 6 p.m.
The non-profit corporation’s purpose is to revitalize and promote the city’s historic downtown area.
“Becoming self-sufficient will allow us to continue sponsoring events such as the gala, Art Walk and Big Boy’s Main Street Cook-Off,” Cody Blanchard, the organization’s director, said. “It will also allow us to increase the beautification efforts and awareness of downtown Thibodaux.”
Tickets are limited. They are $50 per person and are available at Queeny’s Boutique.
