If I had to recommend one band from Houma’s indie scene that must be seen and heard it would be SIGHTINSOUND.

They are a four-piece progressive/experimental rock band that has been getting the attention they deserve. These guys are nothing but raw energy on stage, and I literally can’t look away once the show starts.

With Cody Peltier on guitar and vocals, Robert Moon on bass, Scott Breidenstein on keys, trumpet, and vocals, and Dustin Eagan on drums, SIGHTINSOUND is the greatest thing since crunchy peanut butter.

Their six-song EP is scheduled for release in the summer of 2012, and the group is planning an East Coast tour in the near future. They have been busy playing shows in Lafayette, Covington, Hammond, Baton Rouge and New Orleans.

Want to experience this for yourself? SIGHTINSOUND has shows scheduled for March 3rd at The Boxer and The Barrel in downtown Houma, April 14th at the Houmapalooza music festival in downtown Houma, and April 16th at 12 Bar in New Orleans.

You can hear them online at www.sightinsound.bandcamp.com or follow them on Facebook.
