Terrebonne General Medical Center wants to ring in 2018 by preparing expectant mothers who plan to breastfeed their children.
The hospital is holding a one-time, two-hour breastfeeding class on Jan. 3 at the Women’s Health Center’s Multipurpose Room.
Topics for the course will cover breast changes during pregnancy, preparing to be breastfed, proper positioning, latch techniques, as well as common problems and solutions and tips for maintaining a milk supply after returning to work.
The course is for pregnant mothers, so please plan to attend before giving birth.
The class will begin at 6 p.m. and cost to attend is $30.
