It’s not always easy to grow up as a girl.
But Thibodaux Regional Medical Center is doing everything in its power to help.
The hospital announced that it will host Growing Up: For Girls Only – a one-night, one-hour class designed to allow girls to understand their growing, changing bodies.
The course will take place Sept. 28 at TRMC’s Wellness Education Center.
It will begin at 6 p.m.
The course is for girls ages 9-12 and will be taught be a registered nurse. It’s aim is to focus on allowing girls to understand their bodies and the changes that are going on during adolescence.
Cost to attend is $20.
Each participant must have one adult female accompanying them to the event.
