Dear Editor:

The FairTax eliminates payroll deductions. You make a dollar, you take home a dollar.

It is a 23 percent tax on services and new goods. Buy it used and there are no taxes.

The income tax with FICA is between 22 and 47 percent depending on your income.

The rich cannot avoid the FairTax. Politicians cannot hide tax increases in our complicated tax codes. Each month everyone gets a check equal to the amount of taxes one would pay at the poverty level. Thus, the poor won’t be taxed.

Check it out at FairTax.org.
