On Friday, Sept. 26, I plan to retire as the Public Information Officer of the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office.
This job has been a wonderful and challenging experience. I have a great deal of respect for the members of the media and the job that you do.
Amazingly, we have had a good working relationship over the past 15 years. And somebody said this would be a tough job!
We’ve been through storms, disasters, good times, sad times, and fun times together. Thank you for your friendship and patience – sometimes. We both had jobs to do.
I don’t know who my replacement will be but I’m sure they will do an outstanding job.
