The 2020 Louisiana alligator hunting season has been extended to 60 days this year and will end in late October in both east and west zones, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) said. Hunting in the east zone will conclude Oct. 24 and on Oct. 31 in the west zone.


 

Baited hooks and lines must be removed no later than sunset of the last day of the open season for each zone.
