CASA of Terrebonne is searching for Santa’s best helpers to adopt a CASA child or teenager’s Christmas wish list! “We have 20 children in foster care that are actively being served by a CASA volunteer, that are in need of gifts,” Jenny Domangue Lead Advocate Supervisor of CASA of Terrebonne. “These gifts are their primary source of receiving gifts at all.”
The children have competed wish lists and CASA is ready to assign them to generous donors on a first come, first serve basis. In addition, CASA is accepting monetary donations at their office from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the exception of November 24 and 25, as their office will be close in observance of Thanksgiving.
“Ideally, we’d like to have all of the children assigned to donors prior to Thanksgiving. We’ll provide the wish list, and donors can purchase as many gifts as they can. The gifts can be dropped off at our office by December 15, unwrapped, and we’ll take care of the rest,” Domangue added.
