The Galliano family is making spirits bright with their home by transforming it into a light show this holiday season for the Bayou Blue light show. The show includes over 25,000 imported Italian twinkle lights dancing to festive holiday tunes.

Clint Galliano says he and his wife Melnie decided to start a Halloween and Christmas light show back in 2014 to spread joy to the community during the Holiday Season. “It’s basically a hobby, we began decorating the house and eventually we started getting more into it. It became a big thing over the years, and the community loves it.”

The dazzling drive-thru light show includes a mega-tree and dancing arches sequenced to holiday tunes like Rockin Robin, Christmas don’t be late, and Charlie Brown Christmas, new tunes will be added throughout the month leading up to Christmas Day.

Rules for the Bayou Blue Light Show are as followed:

  • Please avoid blocking driveways and keep the street passable

  • Do not play your radio too loudly

  • Remain safely inside of your vehicle

  • Do not let children play in the street or run through the yard

  • Do not litter or throw cigarettes on the ground

  • Be sure to share our page and videos with your friends!

Like many families, The Galliano’s home received roof and water damage due to Hurricane IDA, forcing them to cancel the Halloween Light Show. Galliano says although their home received devastating damage, they remained hopeful for a recovery in time for Christmas. “We want everybody to come out and enjoy a little Christmas spirit after all of the destruction we experienced in the last few months due to the storm.”

The Bayou Light show was sponsored by Clint C Galliano Realtor in partnership with Keller Williams Realty Bayou Partners.  The show can be watched from 5:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. at 145 Gabriel St, every night (weather permitting) from now until January 1, 2022. For more information on the Bayou Blue Dancing light show visit their Facebook.
