Mark your calendars and get your costumes ready to join us for four hours of celebration filled with costumed superheroes, photo ops, artists, vendors, games, sing-a-longs, performances, and more. This event is family friendly and for all ages. Best of all, it is completely free! Be sure to keep an eye on our Facebook page @mytpl.org for updated information.

In the meantime, check out one of these heroic books to get you in a super-powered mood. All three books are available through the Terrebonne Parish Library System, and you can reserve a copy today at www.mytpl.org.

Sparks!
Written by Ian Boothby
Illustrated by Nina Matsumoto

Not all heroes are humans. Sometimes they come in the form of two cats in a robotic dog suit. In Sparks!, Charlie and August team up to pilot their dog suit to save the day across town. Everything is going to plan until one day a new villain shows up to conquer the world. Don’t be fooled—just because this alien looks like a onesie-wearing baby and is named Princess doesn’t mean that they are to be trifled with. Will August and Charlie be able to save the day before the aliens take over? •
