Looking to adopt a pet this holiday season? With the help of Crawfish House Restaurant, Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter is offering free adoptions for the month of December!

Those interested in adopting can stop by the animal shelter Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adoption hours on Saturdays are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m and the shelter will not be open for intake on Saturdays. TPAS is hopeful that by offering a reduced price for adoptions, more animals can find a home.

“Thanks to a generous donation from Crawfish House, Mr.Gary and Mrs.Faye Blanchard and their pups Duke, Tika, Buddy, and Oreo, our adoption fees are sponsored through the month of December for our dogs and cats looking for forever homes!” reads a statement from Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter.

All pets will be provided with the following upon adoption, health exam, vaccinations, dewormer, appropriate testing, microchip (including registration), spay/neuter, one month supply for flea prevention, one month supply of heartworm prevention, and a starter bag of Hill’s Science Diet Food.

The Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter is located at 100 Government St, Gray, LA 70359. For more information or to view Pictures of adoptable animals, visit them on Facebook or check out Petfinder.com.
