The Kiwanis Club of Houma hosted their first Howl-O-Ween Dog Parade and Festival at the courthouse square this morning. The event kicked off with a short canine parade after which awards for best dog costume, best owner/pet look alike costume, obedience and other categories were presented. Around 70 canines and their owners enjoyed the beautiful weather and a Howling good time! Various dog-related vendors had booths showcasing different goods, adoptable pets, and tips on grooming and pet care.
