Local musicians are gathering together once again to raise money to help one another. Enjoy live music by Jeff McCarty, Heath Ledet Band, Nonc Nu & da Wild Matous, and Josh Garrett. Cook-off categories include gumbo, jambalaya or chili.

Explore the region’s biggest boat and RV sales event during this 21st annual event. Throughout the weekend, check out row after row of the latest campers, boats and more. On Friday, bring the kids to enjoy Family Day. On this day, children ages 12 and younger may fish once at Fish-O-Rama Rainbow Trout Pond for free.

SOUPer Bowl and 5K for United Way


Join United Way of South Louisiana at their annual cook-off competition between local vendors and companies, who craft their best gumbo, soup and chili dishes. Overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rdplace awards will be given as well as crowd favorite. The MVP 5K kicks off at 9:30 a.m. There will be entertainment and plenty to eat for a $5 entry fee.

Equality Night in Louisiana

Join HRC New Orleans & HRC Louisiana for Equality Night in the Bayou Region featuring special drag performances by:Gia GiaVanni – Miss Capital City Pride 2018;Giselle Trivianni – Miss New Orleans Pride 2019;Blain Bextor – Mr. New Orleans Pride 2019;Lux LeCher – Miss Swamp Stomp 2017. Special guest appearance by Miss Kookie Baker. Turn resistance into action by joining HRC in the Bayou Region for a special evening with HRC’s local leaders, LGBTQ+ drag performances and an inspiring night of music, delicious food, resilience and fun. Equality Night events highlight local supporters who are Open to Everyone in a fun, social setting while supporting the fight for LGBTQ equality. HRC works around the clock to end discrimination against the LGBTQ community and build a world where LGBTQ people can be open, honest, and safe in their communities. Tickets are $15 and includes entry to the event, complimentary light snacks and your annual HRC membership or renewal.Please note this event is smoke-free and for ages 21 and up.

6th Annual Love Your Heart Luncheon

Learn about the health of your heart while participating in cardiac screenings at the 6th annual Women’s Love Your Heart Luncheon. Presented by Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) Healthy Lifestyles Center and the Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS), this community event will include a delicious heart-healthy lunch as well as a Q & A Session on women’s heart health with Dr. Charisse Ward. Guests can also enjoy Health screenings, including blood pressure checks and the InBody230 scale, and educational exhibits, including information on smoking cessation, vein treatment, women’s health, weight management and more, will also be provided. The Health Fair will be from 11am to noon and will be immediately followed by the lunch program from noon to 1pm.Registration for the luncheon is required, and space is limited. Tickets are $20. Greater Love Banquet

Enjoy a night of hearts beating for Life as Hope Restored hosts their first fundraiser banquet. The evening includes success stories from Hope Restored and guest speaker Pati Adams, Executive Director of Pregnancy Resource Center in Panama City. There will also be a silent auction and delicious food to enjoy. Tickets are $40 per person or $75 per couple.
