Willow Cafe and Bakery is nestled on the corner of W. 3rd and Jackson Street in Downtown Thibodaux and offers a wide variety of coffee, baked goods, and food any time of the day.

The cafe was opened in the Fall of 2011 with a goal to satisfy customers with fresh foods. The variety of food includes sandwiches, wraps, salads, coffee, desserts, and more! From when you walk into the cafe doors, to when you sit down with a downtown view, Willow Cafe gives an inviting and relaxing atmosphere.

Being it was time for early lunch and I didn’t have my coffee yet, I ordered an Italian Coffee and a California Chicken Club which comes with sliced chicken, avocado, mayo, mustard, tomatoes, romaine, and red onions all wrapped in a flour tortilla. This was PERFECT for a light lunch. First off, the Italian Coffee was probably the best coffee I’ve had in a while. The wrap was light, refreshing, and a perfect blend of ingredients.

Then came dessert, which I wasn’t going to take any part of (New Year, New Me!), but how can I not? Thus, this beauty, Blueberry White Chocolate Bread Pudding. It was dense, delicious, and went perfectly with the Italian Coffee.

Guess what? They also have King Cake and are taking orders for the Carnival season! They offer Plain (Small for $16.99, Medium for $23.99, and Large for $35.99) and Pecan (Small for $19.99, Medium for $26.99, and Large for $38.99). They also offer half-dozen mini King Cakes for $54.00. Be sure to visit them at 713 W 3rd St. in Thibodaux!
