Downtown Houma will be bustling this weekend with community events! Enjoy Luminate Houma after the Mudbug 5K, Rotary Club’s Cast Iron Cook-Off! Enjoy fellowship, drinks, and great local music!
Hosted by Jam Up Marketing, the event is free to the public and runs from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. this Saturday, February 11 in Memorial Park in Downtown Houma (next to Lumiere). Lumiere will be serving beer and Bayou Terrebonne Distillery’s famous Manny Fresh cocktails.
They are encouraging people to bring folding chairs and dress to stay warm. Zac Cheramie and Devin McCarty will be providing the entertainment in a candle lit environment and Manny Merlos will be the DJ from Spilt Liquor Productions.
“We’re excited to see so many awesome events this weekend,” said Jam Up Marketing, “People can start the day off at the Mudbug 5k run for Acadian, then head to the Cast Iron Cookoff which includes a pub crawl, put on by the Rotary, after that they can walk over to the Memorial Park next to Lumiere Blues & Jazz Bistro. We’re excited to see the community coming together and enjoying everything downtown Houma has to offer.”
