Danielle’s Holiday Style:

I love the traditional colors of red and green. This year we purchased a flocked, artificial tree so it would compliment the colors of the ornaments. I love snowmen and have a considerable collection of older treasures, as well as newer ornaments, which is shown throughout the home. Some new items were added this year for an update. I like shopping locally to help the community. Special ornaments made by our daughters, Darian and Bri, find a place on the tree. Of course, we have the four stockings hung by the chimney with care along with a plate of cookies and a mug of milk for Santa. A friend, Kelly Weaver, did the decorating this year.

We also decorate the outside of our home with many items. Our family tradition has always been to have Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve with my parents and then exchange gifts. My dad passed away six years ago, but the tradition lives on with my mom. We all cherish these memories and the new ones to come. POV
