Mark and Stacie Theriot decided to put their newly built home on the market in 2013 to buy an older ranch style home and dive head first into a home renovation project.

“We packed up and moved into Mark’s parents camper and lived in their driveway while we worked on the renovation day and night for three months,” Stacie recalls.

Equipped with a passion for design and decorating, Stacie was ready to tackle the project and enlist help from her family, including her children! From removing flooring, scraping the popcorn ceilings, and even gutting some rooms, the Theriots jumped in.

“My children were a big help! We put four of them to work!,” Stacie remembers.

New darkwood floors throughout most of the home added a formal touch and blended perfectly with Stacie’s traditional style with a twist of modern. A fresh coat of paint completely transformed the interior and allows the details to shine such as the custom trim in the dining room and a custom designed stair rail in the foyer.

Polishing off the interior with some of Stacie’s own artwork and a mix of old and new furnishings that have a collected feel breathe new life into the 40 year old home. “I had a lot of fun making it into a home we would love and grow in,” Stacie shares. POV
