Acadia plantation

May’s PoV Pop-Up Party brings together art, music and food for an evening of Summer Fun! We invite you to join us for a Summer Arts Stroll in Town Center at Acadia Plantation on May 10th from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Acadia Plantation is a traditional neighborhood development in Thibodaux designed to revive the warmth of small town America. A walk down their manicured streets brings back memories of a time where traditions and values of family were shared with neighbors and friends. The homes in Acadia Plantation are designed with character, remaining authentic to the history, tradition and customs of south Louisiana. Front porches are given a place of prominence in home and neighborhood design, allowing residents a great space to appreciate the outdoors, and to increase daily interaction among neighbors. Residents truly enjoy exceptional living in a small town atmosphere. Town Center was designed to host community events like this one, to bring people together for a good time.

Our entertainment sponsor Hancock Whitney has provided live music for your listening enjoyment. The line-up includes local favorites Harley Talbot and Kerry Thibodaux in Town Center. Hancock Whitney offers a wide array of banking and financial services across the Gulf South. They maintain a steadfast commitment to doing the right thing for the people and businesses that depend on them.

As you take a leisurely stroll down Rue Colette, step into the businesses that are hosting artist galleries for the evening. Artist sponsors include Meyer Financial Group and Parish Wealth Partners.

Enjoy the galleries of these featured artists:

  • Amber LeBlanc Studio
  • Judy Brining
  • Sarahkkreations
  • Cyd Duet Toups Studio
  • Waguespack Art

Ray Rides will be present to offer transportation services as needed. Parking will be available near Acadia Plantation.

Food trucks will line the streets of Rue Madeleine for your dining pleasure. Guests may purchase culinary offerings such as barbeque, seafood, gourmet desserts and a variety of beverages.

Each of our PoV Pop-Up events is created to bring people together for a good time and to benefit a good cause. Throughout the evening, we will be hosting a benefit raffle for the Thibodaux Service League. The Thibodaux Service League is a group of women dedicated to improving Thibodaux and the surrounding communities through service projects.

Our Pop-Up events are our way of bringing stories to life from the pages of our magazine. We love being able to share and give back to the communities that have supported us over our 12 years. We look forward to seeing you at this event! For more information, please visit www.povpopup.com.
