Expecting a new child?

Have concerns about how your little ones will react to the new baby?

Terrebonne General Medical Center is here to help in a big way.

The hospital is hosting a Sibling Course on Oct. 1 at the Multipurpose Room in the Women’s Health Center, a course designed to help children transition into their new roles as big brothers/sisters.

The course is one hour and it’s designed for children ages 2-10.

Topics covered will included jealousy, feeding, holding and normal newborn care.

A tour of the Women’s Center will also take place at the end of the class so that families can familiarize children with the facility.

The course begins at 5:30 p.m. sharp.

To register, call (985) 858-7380 or use a sign-up form available at http://www.tgmc.com/events/sibling-class-321/.

Cost is $10/child.
