The Mary Bird Perkins TGMC Cancer Center is happy to announce that its annual cancer gala, Ladies Night Out, will be held on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018 at the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center.

The 2018 event is presented by Peoples Drug Store and it will begin at 6:30 p.m.

It’s a celebration of cancer survivorship and it also raises valuable funds to support cancer patients in the community, while honoring those who have lost their fight against the deadly disease.

“We are thrilled to once again celebrate the tremendous community support of our patients and the Cancer Center with an unforgettable and fabulous evening,” said Melanie Guilbeaux, Mary Bird Perkins TGMC Cancer Director. “Over the past 11 years, we have raised $796,000 for patients receiving treatment right here at home. We are proud to be able to offer world-class services to our community so that each patient can continue to live life to its fullest.”

The 2018 event will include a VIP experience, elaborate silent auction, delicious local cuisine, signature cocktails, upbeat music and a cancer survivor fashion show. This year, 17 fearless cancer survivors will walk down the catwalk in the show.

General admission tickets are $50/person. To become a sponsor or to purchase tickets, visit mbptgmc.org/lno
