Louisiana Department of Health Region Three is kicking of a Suicide Prevention Campaign and is celebrating the launch today, Thursday, June 23.
The Suicide Prevention Campaign Launch will feature a guest speaker from START Corp. who will discuss suicide awareness. Also, staff from several mental health organizations will provide information and answer questions.
The Launch Event will take place at the Terrebonne Main Library, 151 Library Drive in Houma, at 5:30 p.m. For more information, contact cristie.howard2@la.gov.
