Lady of the Sea General Hospital in Galliano wants patients and their extended family to be more comfortable during their stay in 2019.
One way they hope to accomplish that is through a classic Louisiana Cajun tradition – through food.
The hospital announced this week that Valley Food Services started servicing patients, guests and staff on Jan. 28 – a change that hospital officials say will be a positive change for 2019.
The hospital cafeteria will be open throughout the day with hot meals being offered from 7-9 a.m. for breakfast and 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. for lunch.
Other food options are available throughout the day in the cafeteria and in the coming week, new additions will be made, including a soda fountain machine and a Community Coffee and Tea on Demand machine.
