Volunteers from Texas Roadhouse and Lowe’s recently graciously partnered with Mary Bird Perkins TGMC Cancer Center to renovate the outside tranquility garden for patients.

The goal was to restore the garden and give it new life by adding new flowers, plants and trees. The garden is located in front of the treatment area where patients sit and receive therapy. It provides a calming presence.

Lee Whitney Signs collaborated on the project as well to put vinyl motivational quotes on the windows overlooking the garden so the patients can read the messages and find hope that the community is supporting their fight against cancer.
