Terrebonne General Medical Center is proud to honor Lacey Baudoin as its August Employee of the Month.

Baudoin is a 19-year TGMC employee and a member of the hospital’s Pharmacy Team.

She provides pharmacist support to patients on the 5 North floor by attending staffing and physician rounds, offering medication dosing support, providing renal dosing adjustments and changing medication regimens in an attempt to decrease antibiotic resistance.

Baudoin is also a member of several TGMC internal committees.

TGMC names its Employee of the Month each month to a worker who demonstrates outstanding and constant commitment to the well-being of patients, their extended families and staff.

Baudoin earned the title with her proactive work ethic, positive attitude and capacity to effectively manage a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Baudoin also recently helped launch an Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee that is designed to help the organization decrease antimicrobial resistance, decrease inappropriate antimicrobial use and improve patient care.

She said the honor was one of the biggest moments of her professional career.

“Being nominated for employee of the month is one of the biggest honors of my life,” said Baudoin. “I work alongside countless people who deserve this honor and so it’s a very humbling experience to be chosen. I take pride in being the best pharmacist I can be and to be recognized for this is amazing. I’ll never forget the feeling of walking into the pharmacy and being surprised with this honor.”
