Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) announced this week that Beckie LeBouef is the hospital’s October Employee of the Month.

LeBouef is a 16-year TGMC employee. She works as a cardiovascular technologist in the TGMC CATH Lab.

TGMC hands out an employee of the month as a way to recognize outstanding employees. The winner demonstrates outstanding and constant commitment to the well-being of patients, their extended families and staff.

LeBouef is recognized by co-workers for her proactive work ethic, positive attitude and dedication to patients and co-workers. She is credited by her co-workers to go above and beyond on a regular basis.

When LeBouef is not on duty, she is a volunteer with Team Terrebonne, TGMC’s volunteer initiative, assisting with community events.

She said to be named Employee of the Month is an honor.

“I am very proud to be working in one of the most advanced Cath Labs in the country,” she said. “Some days, it can be demanding, but it is so rewarding to help our patients. Our lab does some of the most cutting-edge procedures and advanced techniques in the country.  We have an amazing group of nurses and technologists along with some of the most respected cardiologists in the nation.”
