TPSO Clarifies Parade Start Times

Mardi Gras is in full force today in Lafourche Parish.
The Krewe of Gheens rolls at 11am. The Krewe of Neptune rolls through Galliano and Golden Meadow beginning at noon. The Krewe of Choupic begins at 1pm. The Krewe of Ghana begins at 1pm in Thibodaux.
Please see the parade routes to determine your detour route around each parade. Those traveling along the parade routes before and after the parade should exercise patience and be mindful of the large number of pedestrians at the roadside, especially children.
