The Krewe of Tradition invites the community to join the fun, and honor the masquerading tradition during carnival season!

“We began to notice that people in the crowd really loved them, and everyone wanted one, but we would always run out during the parade. So this year, we placed a bulk order for 18,000 speciality embroidered ones,” said float captain Ben Robichaux.

Students collaborated and created a maid’s collar for the Krewe of Terreanians, and the Krewe of Houmas 2023 doubloon!

The Krewe of Hyacinthians will parade today, Sunday, February 12, 2023, beginning at 12:30pm. Queen Hyacinth LXXII Heidi Saint and the King of the Krewe of Hyacinthians David Saint reign as royalty over the club. 

Chief Zeringue encourages all parade goers to enjoy the festivities, but utilize all safety precautions.

The Krewe of Aquarius takes to the street of Houma this evening, February 11, 2023, starting at 6pm on the traditional westside route. 

HPD will conduct saturation patrols throughout the city limits throughout the Mardi Gras season.

The Krewe of Hercules kicked off the Mardi Gras season with a special presentation today at South Terrebonne High School. Garrett Hartley, this year's Grand Marshal, and the ST 2022 Championship Baseball Team, this year's honorary grand marshals, were presented with the Keys to the City.
