LA 1 remains closed due to high water at the Leon Theriot flood gates in Golden Meadow as a result of Tropical Storm Beta. Troopers will continue to monitor the water levels throughout the day and updates will be posted. Please watch out for high water levels in your area and do not attempt to drive through it. Turn around, don’t drown!
