Get ready for the 8th Annual Bayou Beer Fest! The Bayou Beer Society invites you to come out and enjoy hundreds of craft and specialty brews from all of Louisiana’s craft breweries.

The festivities will begin with Reveille for 11:00 AM, The National Anthem, the Pledge of Allegiance and more! The event will be from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 13 at Fletcher Technical Community College located at 1407 HWY 311 in Schriever, LA.

All patrons must be over 21 years of age with a valid photo ID. Drink Ticket Packages are $45 and include 30 sample tickets for beers.

Bayou Beer Society Board member Racquel Parfait says the committee is excited to celebrate the return of the festival after last year’s cancellation. “The festival usually has a good turn out every year, unfortunately we weren’t able to host the fest last year due to covid, this year it’ll be at a different location but it’s still for  a good cause & we’re hoping the festival gives the community a sense of normalcy.”

Proceeds raised from the festival will benefit veterans who, though serving their country proudly, need a helping hand. Parfait says those attending the event will enjoy a day of fun while supporting a veteran. This year we’re helping the Fletcher Veterans resource center as well as South Louisiana Veterans Outreach.”

The festival encourages guests to come hungry and thirsty, Mr. Carter Robertson with Soulflavors food truck will be serving a menu full of mouth-watering items including Boiled Crabs, Grilled Blue Crab, Fried Shrimp, Fried Fish, Fried Oysters, Chargrilled Oysters, Garlic Butter Smoked Chicken, Jambalaya, and Blackened Catfish Pasta!

“Music by Bo”  will be on the 1’s and 2’s accepting music requests, if you ask nicely! Come out and enjoy a great day of good food, beer, and fun!!
