Friends of Bayou Lafourche, Inc. (FOBL) has made the difficult decision to postpone the Weir Removal Boat Parade scheduled for Saturday, August 28th, 2021 due to the approaching Tropical Storm Ida and the associated weather forecasted for Saturday.
We are confident that this is the necessary decision for the safety of participants, volunteers, and musicians. Additionally, we believe it is prudent to give everyone involved the necessary time to prepare for the storm given its current track.
We would like to thank all those that have helped plan, coordinate, and promote this event. A new date will be announced soon, and we appreciate the community’s understanding.
