It was another week in the Bottom 3 for Bayou Boeuf native Zamariah “ZZ” Loupe.

But the WWE universe and Loupe’s ever-growing fanbase did enough to keep the local alive in his quest to win Tough Enough.

Loupe joined two other male competitors in the bottom three after judge Daniel Bryan questioned ZZ’s toughness and commitment. Throughout the duration of the show, ZZ has struggled to keep up with other competitors in physical challenges. He admitted in his 15-second plea to the judges that he, “showed up here out of shape.”

But a little support from fellow cast members indicate that Loupe is getting his body in better condition.

Throughout Tuesday’s episode, Loupe had a few verbal spats with competitor Patrick, who has been one of the more outspoken characters in the show, but also one of the most successful in competitions.

Like ZZ, Patrick was placed in the Bottom 3. But unlike ZZ, Patrick wasn’t able to survive elimination.

But on his way out, Patrick said that he hopes ZZ wins Tough Enough, stating that after talking to the Cajun, he now knows that “it truly is his dream” to be a WWE superstar.

Patrick also said that in the past week, ZZ has committed himself to his training regimen.

“He’s really stepped it up,” Patrick said. “He’s serious about this.”

With the elimination, there are now eight competitors left on the show – four men and four women.

The competitors are competing for two, separate one-year, $250,000 contracts, which WWE will reward to one male and one female upon the show’s completion.

Tough Enough will resume next Tuesday at 7 p.m. on USA.
