Thibodaux Mayor Tommy Eschete and Chief of Police Bryan Zeringue announced this afternoon that a curfew will be in place for the city of Thibodaux beginning tonight and lasting to early tomorrow morning.

The curfew is for the city limits and will begin at 10 p.m. tonight and will last until 6 a.m. tomorrow morning.

The city reserves the right to extend the curfew, if needbe.

Chief Zeringue reminds all citizens of the importance of this curfew, but we will give business employees an opportunity to travel home shortly after the curfew goes into effect. If anyone is found to be violating this curfew during the slotted time, proper action will be taken against them. Please follow this order and stay safe.
