Six arrested in Lafourche raid

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced this week that narcotics agents arrested six men and seized thousands of dollars in cocaine and cash last Tuesday following the search of a Raceland residence.

Antonio Tillman, 29, of 474 Greenville St., Raceland, an upper-level cocaine dealer whose operation was the target of the investigation, was taken into custody at his residence with five others.

Also arrested were Brenta Tillman, 24, of 612 St., Raceland; Adrian Peltier, 32, of 506 Mobile Estates in Gray; Joshua Jenkins, 24, of 326 East 23rd St., Larose; Denares Fitch, 26, of 3634 Baker Drive, Houma and Henry Green, 25, of 138 E. Lafourche St., Lockport.

Through investigation, Lafourche Parish Drug Task Force Agents identified Tillman as an upper-level dealer in Lafourche and Terrebonne Parish.

On Oct. 23, agents executed a search warrant on one of his vehicles and said they discovered 88 grams of suspected cocaine, 8.5 grams of crack cocaine and $12,196 in cash.

As a result of the search, agents said they obtained arrest warrants for Tillman on charges of possession with the intent to distribute cocaine and crack cocaine.

They also learned during the investigation that the suspect was manufacturing and distributing large amounts of cocaine at a Raceland residence on Brocato Lane, securing a warrant for that residence.

On Nov. 20, agents learned that Tillman was at the residence with several others who were allegedly attempting to purchase cocaine.

Agents responded to the located to execute the warrants and upon arrival, they said they made contact with Tillman and five other men, as well as a juvenile child.

Agents said they discovered two large bags of suspected cocaine on the kitchen floor, which were determined to weigh 169 grams.

Antonio Tillman was immediately located and placed under arrest. He was found to have $6,086 in his pocket at the time of arrest, deputies said.

While searching a bedroom of the residence, authorities said Brenta Tillman was located with 19 Hydrocodone pills, a bag containing 2.2 gross grams of suspected crack cocaine, six small bags of suspected marijuana and two suspected Xanax pills.

Green was also taken into custody at the location. Authorities said he gave authorities a false name.

For the entire operation, authorities said nearly 287 gross grams of suspected cocaine, nearly 26 grams of suspected crack cocaine, $18,282 and three vehicles were seized.

“This is another example of outstanding work by the Lafourche Parish Drug Task Force,” Webre said. “I commend our agents for their diligence in this investigation that has resulted in an upper-level drug dealer behind bars and has removed thousands of dollars of cocaine from Lafourche and Terrebonne neighborhoods.”

All six men were taken to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center.

Each was charged with possession with the intent to distribute cocaine and illegal use of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a person under the age of 17. Tillman was also charged with previously held warrants for drug charges.

Fitch and Jenkins have a hold by the Louisiana Department of Probation and Parole.

Brenta Tillman was additionally charged with possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine hydrocodone and marijuana, as well as possession of Xanax.

Green was also charged with resisting an officer and outstanding warrants for possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, production of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, three counts of contempt of court and a parole violation.
