Lafourche Parish District Attorney Kristine Russell announced that she is opening a satellite office at the Golden Meadow Town Hall, 107 Jervis Drive in Golden Meadow.

Child Support personnel will be at the Golden Meadow location every Tuesday starting on February 8 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, and an Assistant District Attorney will be available to answer questions every Thursday starting on February 10 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

“It’s important that we remain accessible to everyone in our parish, and continuing to have an office at the southern part of our ninety-seven-mile-long parish helps us accomplish that,” said District Attorney Kristine Russell. “I want to thank Mayor Joey Bouziga for providing room for us to meet with the public within the Golden Meadow Town Hall.”

This new temporary location comes after her office’s previous satellite location in Galliano was damaged during Hurricane Ida in August of 2021.

Russell continued, “Our office is here to serve the people of Lafourche parish, and we hope this satellite location encourages people to bring their questions and concerns to us.”
