The Bayou LaCarpe Bridge crossing Bayou LaCarpe on LA 661 in Houma, La. will be closed to vehicular traffic starting on March 2, 2020 at 6:30 AM to April 6, 2020 at 6:00 PM.
This closure is required to allow LADOTD’s contractor to perform work on the bridge as part of an emergency bridge repair to reinforce the steel grid deck.
Alternate routes available around the Bayou LaCarpe Bridge closure include: LA 3040 (Houma Tunnel) or LA 659 & LA 24 (Twin Span Bridges)
