The Louisiana Procurement Technical Assistance Center, PTAC, will conduct a detailed training on the processes required to pursue government contracting opportunities, both storm-related and standard government contracts.

The event is FREE and open to the public but advanced registration is required by contacting Peggy Sammons at PTAC by e-mail at prs6182@louisiana.edu or by calling the South Louisiana Economic Council at 985-448-4485.


The session is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. October 2, at Nicholls State University, Donald G. Bollinger Memorial Student Union, Plantation Suite.

Topics to be covered include the acquisition process, pricing and labor laws, size determinations and prime and sub-contracting.

The South Louisiana Economic (SLEC) is a regionally focused economic development agency servicing the parishes of Assumption, Lafourche, St. Mary, and Terrebonne.
