Fletcher Technical Community College is accepting registration for public notary classes. The 13 week course will provide students with the tools and information to prepare for the Louisiana State Notary Public Examination. Beginning Tuesday, May 31, students will meet every Tuesday night from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., until August 23.
According to Fletcher, “The course will use practice exams taken from actual exams in prior years as well as samples of common forms used by notaries in their everyday practice. Students will also receive instruction on how to navigate through the Louisiana Civil Code, the structure of the Louisiana Court System, and the rules governing Notaries in Louisiana.”
The cost for the course is $500. The purchase of the Louisiana Notary Public Examination Official Study Guide is also required and is $100.00. For more information on the course or to register visit Fletcher’s website.
