TFAE Awards More Than $66,000 in Grants to Local Public School Teachers

Fr. Wilmer Todd, a retired priest of the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux, has partnered with the Catholic Foundation of South Louisiana to establish an endowment to provide funding for for church parishes and Catholic schools within the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux for new projects and ministries. The Catholic Foundation recently made over $16,000 in grant distributions on behalf of the Fr. Willie Todd Foundation to support our local schools and churches during these unprecedented times. Several organizations were selected to receive funding for their specific ministries this year.
The following organizations received grant funding from the Fr. Willie Todd Foundation:
• Holy Family Church, Grand Caillou
• Holy Savior School, Lockport
• Our Lady of the Rosary, Larose
• Sacred Heart Church, Cut Off
• St. Ann Church, Bourg
• St. Bernadette School, Houma
• St. Bridget Church, Schriever
• St. Francis de Sales Cathedral School, Houma
• St. Genevieve Church, Thibodaux
• St. John the Evangelist, Thibodaux
• St. Lawrence Church, Kraemer
• St. Lucy Church, Houma
• Vandebilt Catholic High School, Houma
