THIBODAUX – Construction on the Canal Boulevard Roundabout will begin this week.
On Tuesday, May 23, 2023, LA Contracting will begin the demolition of the old hotel located at the corner of Canal Boulevard and Gerald T. Peltier Drive.
Gerald T. Peltier Drive from President Street to Canal Boulevard will be closed to vehicular traffic until further notice due to the demolition and construction of the roundabout. Signage is posted in the area to assist motorists on detour routes.
