Terrebonne Parish Library calls all science lovers

We’re weeks away from the start of a new school year and a local youth organization is asking for the support of the community to help provide supplies for the fall semester. Girls on the Run Bayou Region Council is gearing up for the upcoming school year by preparing supply bags for 18 registered teams. Supporters can make a donation by purchasing an item off of GOTR’s Amazon wishlist.
Girls on the Run’s mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. The organization hosts a series of events annually, including camps, and programs for girls in grades 3-8. For more information on how to donate, visit the GOTR website.
