Hancock Whitney, one of America’s strongest, safest banks, is proud to sponsor the New Orleans Saints Thank a Teacher Tunnel Team Experience. As part of this collaboration between the Saints and Hancock Whitney, local educators are selected to participate in the tunnel experience before each Saints home game at the Caesars Superdome.

Two educators from Grand Caillou Middle School in Houma were recently chosen to be outside the tunnel as the New Orleans Saints entered the field for their game vs Dallas. Each educator was also rewarded with bringing a guest of their choice to accompany them.

The December 2nd honored educators were John Campbell, principal of Grand Caillou Middle School which includes grades 5-8 and Brieanna Trahan, 8th Grade science teacher. Both teachers exhibit not only a love for teaching, but also The New Orleans Saints defense, with Campbell’s favorite player being Cam Jordan.

“On behalf of the New Orleans Saints, it was an honor to partner alongside Hancock Whitney for our Thank a Teacher Tunnel Team Experience,” said New Orleans Saints president Dennis Lauscha. “Thank you and congratulations to John Campbell and Brieanna Trahan for your outstanding work in our community and your continued support of the New Orleans Saints.”

Hancock Whitney recognizes and salutes these teachers and all of our frontline heroes who continue to persevere during this time throughout our communities. Not only have they had to face the challenges brought on by COVID-19, they have also had to persevere in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida.
