February 18, 2015Houma Police Department officials have confirmed that all that all parades scheduled for Monday and Tuesday have been moved to Sunday due to forecasts of inclement weather.
Terreanians, Houmas, Cleopatra and Kajuns will roll one after the other commencing at 12:30 p.m. along the traditional Houma route.
Cleopatra was moved from its Monday night slot; Houmas and Kajuns were scheduled to roll Tuesday, Mardi Gras day.
No change has been announced for Lafourche parades.
Showers and possible thunderstorms are expected for Monday and rain ahead of a strong cold front is expected Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service at Slidell.
