Update from LA DOTD:
DOTD has opened the Houma Navigation Canal Bridge, due to the anticipated tropical weather.
It is expected that the bridge will be closed again following TS Cristobal, depending on what the storm does.
The bridge has been closed since May 18 in order to allow LADOTD’s contractor to perform emergency bridge repair work on the bridge to reinforce the steel grid deck.
