Junior Auxiliary of Houma (JA) will be awarding a $1,000 grant to a teacher in the private school sector in Terrebonne Parish.
JA’s Grant for Teachers program provides funding for innovative and creative projects that promote academic excellence. Any Terrebonne Parish private or parochial full time teacher, as well as full time special education teachers, librarians, speech therapists or guidance counselors, may apply.
The deadline to apply is Monday, March 2, 2020. All applications must be postmarked by this date. The winner will be notified during JA Week, April 5-11, 2020.
